MindMap Gallery Qualitative Methods Concept Map
This qualitative concept map is a general method that can assist any individual or group in visually expressing their ideas about a topic. Several ways are currently referred to as "concept mapping," "mental mapping," or "concept webbing." They are similar in that they produce a picture of someone's ideas. However, the concept mapping I want to describe here differs significantly. First, because it is primarily a group process, it is particularly well-suited for situations in which teams or groups of stakeholders must collaborate. Individuals are the primary focus of the other methods. Second, it employs a highly structured and facilitated approach.
