- Follow up with forwarders or brokers once the shipment reaches its destination.

- Issue the customs brokerage authority to the nominated broker.

- Coordinate with the broker or forwarder for customs clearance and provide assistance in case of challenges.

- Arrange payment of duties for shipment release.

- Plan warehouse space allocation and arrange additional resources if required (e.g., extra labor, heavy forklifts, cranes).

- Physical inspection for any loss or damage

- Close follow-up with customs authorities for resolving pending issues such as guarantee clearance.

- Ensure proof of payment for guarantees or clearances on copies of documents when originals are unavailable.

- Receive and verify forwarder invoices against quoted rates and associated duties/customs charges.

- Process invoices and submit them to finance after obtaining required approvals.

- Coordinate with finance for periodic warehouse stock-out audits.

- Instruct the warehouse for last-mile deliveries.

- Arrange gate passes and security clearances for delivery at customer locations.
