Princess Sophia of the Netherlands is related to Singapore through her marriage to Sir Stamford Raffles, the founder of Singapore, and played a significant role in the early history of the city-state. Dr. Wee Tia Lee was awarded an honorary princess title for her outstanding contributions in philanthropy and education. Mrs. Tan Su Lan, a community leader and cultural advocate, was recognized with an honorary princess title for her exceptional service, with her contributions widely acknowledged by society.
